Note
In general, you are not advised to travel between Apr-Jul (for August Intake) / Oct-Dec (for January Intake) as there are NOC activities that require your presence (absence could result to withdrawal or you being not accepted by the NOC programme in the end). There will also be urgent NOC activities such as visa application, insurance briefing, programme manager’s briefing and CV writing workshop (for e.g.: CV writing workshop for NOC Israel will be conducted in Singapore) which will require you to be in Singapore. If you complete your internship placement, have applied for your visa and have also attended the NOC briefings, workshop and etc, there may be small windows where you can take a short vacation for a week or so prior to final pre-departure briefing, visa collection and departure. Selected students can only check for the available dates with programme manager after we link you up with the programme manager and of course after you have been officially offered by NOC.

Ready to Apply for NOC Programme?

Ensure a smooth application process: Review and prepare according to the General Requirements and Documents Required before applying for NOC AY25/26 Semester 2 - January 2026 Intake (All year-long & 6-month programmes) and NOC Toronto March 2026 Intake (exclusively for medicine students).

All Year 1s students, sign up for our Friends of NOC (FoN) network to get the latest NOC updates.

Note: You need to complete the Travel Preparedness Course (TPC), a compulsory course for all students planning to participate in any NUS-endorsed overseas programme. The system requires 24 hours to reflect course completion before you can apply for any NUS overseas programme, including the NOC programme. If you have already completed this e-course, you may proceed with your NOC application. If you have not yet completed it and are still considering applying for the NOC programme, we strongly recommend completing the TPC first. Do not wait until the last day of application, as you may not be able to apply in time. Please be advised that late application appeals will not be considered, and NOC will not respond to such requests.
