• Students need to complete the Travel Preparedness Course (TPC) and the system will take 24 hours to reflect course completion before you can apply for any NUS overseas programme, such as NOC programme. If you have already completed this e-course, you may proceed to apply for NOC programme.

• For Poly students admitted to NUS, you can use your Advanced Units to count towards this 70 Units application requirements.
• First year undergraduate students are welcome to join the "Friends of NOC" network which you can learn more about the programme.
• Students are allowed to fulfil Industrial Attachments (IA) or internship courses or Final Year Project (FYP) using NOC programme, however, subject to NOC's and Faculty's approval.
• Students who previously held Chinese nationality are not eligible to apply for any NOC China location(s). Students of Chinese nationality are eligible only for NOC Shanghai and are not eligible for NOC Beijing.

• Graduate students should have completed at least one semester of studies at NUS at the point of departure and have at least one remaining semester of study upon return to NUS without exceeding their maximum candidature.

Singapore

• 6-month programme for January and July intakes.
• Students should be enrolled in full-time NUS undergraduate courses.
• Students should have completed 2 semesters of study and/or individually gained about 40 and above Units at the start of the internship.
• Students should have at least one remaining semester after the end of the programme.
• Students are allowed to fulfil Internship Attachments (IA) or internship courses using NOC programme, however, subject to Faculty's approval.

Southeast Asia (Indonesia / Malaysia / Thailand / The Philippines / Vietnam)

• 3-month programme from May to August.
• Students should be enrolled in full-time NUS undergraduate or graduate courses.
• Students should have completed 2 semesters of study and/or individually gained about 40 Units and above at the start of the internship.
• Students should have at least one remaining semester after the end of the programme.
• Students will be awarded with 6 Units upon successful completion of NOC SE Asia 3-month programme.
• NOC SE Asia internship does not qualify for the fulfilment of IA. If students would like to use it to fulfil VIP under self-source internship, they will need to request for approval from their faculty prior to the start of the programme.
• Students who are in their final semester, are not eligible to apply as they will be graduating by then.

NOC reserves the right to withdraw your application if we do not receive the required documents before your interview.

Please take note of the following if you intend to appeal after receiving the application outcome:

• Students must submit their appeals within 3 working days from the date of the application result being released. Any late appeals will not be considered.
• Students should provide reasons for their appeal, specify the NOC college(s) they are appealing for, and attach any additional supporting documents (e.g. portfolio, project work which you have not submitted before during your application) to strengthen their appeal case.
• Students are not allowed to send their appeal emails directly to any NUS staff members as this will result in a delay in the appeal process. All appeals must be sent to nocapplication@nus.edu.sg in email format, along with your application ID.
• For students who have already received an offer, we will not consider any appeals for a change of college(s) as per stated in your offer email.
• NOC will not provide any feedback or disclose details of interviews as they are strictly confidential.
