Today, Haulio is Singapore’s largest container haulage platform, with the greater vision of transforming Southeast Asia’s port logistics by enabling hauliers through technology, towards a collaborative future of efficient and optimised usage of resources.
Co-founded in December 2016 by NUS Overseas College Alumnus Sebastian Shen, Haulio has raised S$1 million in seed round investment in May 2018, led by PSA unboXed together with 500 Startups, NUS Enterprise and several logistics industry angel investors. Since then, ComfortDelGro has also invested in the company, tying up with Haulio to offer hauliers prime movers for on-demand rental and port-related jobs such as Inter-Terminal Trucking (ITT) jobs. Today, Haulio has a presence in Thailand, with plans to expand into Southeast Asia.
To date, Haulio has helped to move over 1 million tonnes of cargo since their launch in May 2017, transacting over S$15 million in revenue and 500,000 containers.
