Decentralised Gap (DeGap) is a grant provided to NUS by MOE to support the further development of promising inventions to a more commercially-ready state.

NUS inventors through the grant will have the opportunity to further develop their promising inventions and bring them to a higher technology readiness level.

This is in the hope of increasing the probability of successful commercialisation of the inventions, including opportunities in forming spin-offs and licensing of the inventions to commercial entities.
