Mr Aylwin Tan

Chief Customer Solutions Officer CapitaLand Group

Mr Aylwin Tan is the Chief Customer Solutions Officer of CapitaLand Group and is responsible for formulating and executing industry formation and development, marketing and key customer engagement strategies for CapitaLand Group. He is also the Chairman of AIRmaker, a co-innovation platform focusing on start-ups in the space of Internet of Things.

From 1994 to 2007, Mr Tan was part of the senior management team at the Economic Development Board (EDB). His many portfolios included charting Singapore’s regionalization strategies for Indochina and China that led to Vietnam- Singapore Industrial Park and the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park. Between 1998 to 2004, he was posted to EDB’s Frankfurt office in Germany and served as Regional Director (Europe). Upon his return to Singapore, he was concurrently Executive Director for Asia Pacific Operations; Communications; as well as Chief Information Officer.

From 1992 to 1994, Mr Tan was also the first Secretary of the Singapore-Shandong Business Council and promoted many public sector projects as well as private sector projects.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore and completed his Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program in 2012.

Between 2009 till 2018, Mr Tan also served as Singapore’s representative to the East Asia Business Council.

Assoc Prof Sekhar KONDEPUDI

Associate Professor, Department of Building , School of Design and Environment

Dr. Sekhar Kondepudi has 25 years of global business and product experience in a variety of technology verticals including Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, Internet of Things and Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment. He is active in providing strategic advisory services to both public and private sectors related to the above verticals. He is also mentoring and working closely with several IoT startup companies. He is currently an Associate Professor of Smart Buildings and Smart Cities at the National University of Singapore. In the recent past, Prof Sekhar has been a Vice-Chair for the Focus Group on Smart Sustainable Cities at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN) developing global standards, has held executive positions at Cisco Systems, Motorola and a variety of startups, related to technology innovation, business development, merger and acquisitions. He is a much sought after speaker on the topic of smart sustainable cities and building energy efficiency with presentations all across the world including Singapore, Bangkok, Pusan, Colombo, Turin, Madrid, Riyadh and Qatar. He has over 40 technical publications to his credit and has conducted multiple trainings and workshops globally.

Raj Kasi

Co-Founder & Chief Commercial Officer Impress.ai

Raj is an entrepreneur in the executive search industry having built and run a couple of highly successful agencies over the past 10 years.

At impress.ai, Raj manages Sales and Customer Success, advising some of the largest local and global enterprises in Singapore with their talent acquisition technology strategy.

Having spent a decade in the executive search industry, Raj is able to identify recruiting challenges across enterprises and address them through AI- powered processes and platforms.
