About N-House

Home for Entrepreneurial Minds

ENterprise House (N-House) is an entrepreneurship-themed residence managed by the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) and part of NUS Enterprise.

N-House brings together like-minded students who have recently completed their NOC programme to provide them with a stimulating and supportive environment that serves as a potential testbed for new ideas and initiatives, nurturing an active community of student entrepreneurs.

Who can join N-House?

NOC Alumni, who have completed the programme and are still NUS undergraduates
NOC Students, who are still on the NOC programme. Note that your internships should be based in Singapore (either NOC Singapore programme or remote internship)
Friends of NOC (FON) are also welcome to apply. Please ensure that you have signed up to be part of the FON community via https://bit.ly/JoinFriendsOfNOC before applying for N-House.

Through N-House events/activities, residents will have the opportunity to:

Share and apply their entrepreneurial skills through structured and casual activities.
Learn how to recognise opportunities, innovate and create new values in their day-to-day undertakings that will benefit other residents and the larger NUS community.
Enlist potential collaborators and founding members in their entrepreneurial pursuit. Residence can also make use of shared resources to form effective work teams for developing their business enterprises.
Build a robust and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem that will infuse the spirit of enterprise into the campus.

Some signature events/activities that N-House residents can look forward to include:

Wicked Wednesdays
- Speaker series or workshops featuring well known entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders

N-House Connect
- Closed-door speaker series where we typically invite NOC alumni startup founders share useful advice and insights on their startup journeys.

N-Accelerate
- Student-led accelerator programme for aspiring founders to bring their startup to the next level through guided workshops and mentorship by industry experts.

Pitch Night
- Take part in our signature pitching competition for an opportunity to walk away with prize money to kickstart your startup journey!

FOMO Fridays
- A weekly get-together where fellow residents get to know one another better and form new connections through fun and casual interhall bonding activities

Interest Groups
- Share your passion and interest with fellow residents

N-House Application Windows

There are 2 application windows per year, typically in March (for Semester 1 in August of the same year) and October (for Semester 2 in January of the following year). The period of stay is 1-semester and extension is possible based on NOC’s review. To keep up to date on our application process, join our telegram channel here.
N-House is currently situated at Kent Ridge Hall and Sheares Hall. All rooms are single-occupancy, non-air conditioned and with non-attached bathroom.

For students matriculated from AY2020/2021 Special Term Part 1,

Hostel and meal plan rates for N-House are as follows:

N-House Room Rate	SGD $ 129 / week (equivalent to SGD $ 2322/ semester)	SGD $ 129 / week (equivalent to SGD $ 2193 / semester)
Meal Plan (breakfast & dinner, 6-day per week)	SGD $ 671 / semester	SGD $ 621.30 / semester
