FoodTech Challenge 2019

NUS FoodTech Challenge 2019 is an inaugural foodtech-themed, problem-solving-competition, led by NUS Enterprise and NUS Food Science and Technology (NUS FST) in partnership with Nestlé, Ingredion and JR Group. This foodtech challenge is open to all tertiary, polytechnic, and ITE students from Singapore.
A week-long challenge from 10th – 17th July, the foodtech challenge will culminate in a final Demo Day on 17th July, 2pm-5pm. During the week, students are free to work at their own pace in the daytime, only coming together for evening workshops with industry and business mentors from 6pm onwards, with dinner provided. Graduate students from NUS FST will provide technical guidance and guide students in the lab.
Students participating in this challenge will gain valuable exposure to industry mentors and network, have an opportunity to solve industry problem statements, learn the basics of the value proposition and business model canvas, and get chance to interact with other innovative bright minds.

S$1,500 Cash Prize 1st  
S$800 Cash Prize 2nd  
S$500 Cash Prize 3rd  
X-press ticket to Innovation Practicum Grant (worth S$10,000) + 3 months free incubation space NUS Enterprise Deserving entrepreneurial team, final decision is up to NUS Enterprise personnel. Criteria: need to have at least 1 NUS student in team
