Recent Partnerships

Grants4Apps is a global web-based crowdsourcing initiative that was launched by Bayer in 2013, granting financial support to developers, start-ups and entrepreneurs. This enables them to develop their ideas for apps, hardware and software technology to improve health outcomes, pharmaceutical processes and generate better patient outcomes.In this inaugural round of Grants4Apps Singapore, Bayer is partnering NUS Enterprise to launch an open innovation challenge in Singapore and across Asia Pacific which calls for innovative solutions to improve medication adherence in elders with chronic medical conditions.

Henkel Digital Innovation Challenge
The Henkel Digital Innovation Challenge, launched in partnership with NUS Enterprise, seeks innovative digital solutions across three areas - Digital Collaborations, B2C Customised Solutions and B2B Social Media. Open to university students and start-ups, Henkel aims to discover ideas that will enable it to deliver greater value to its customers and consumers, and strengthen collaboration with its suppliers.

L'Oréal Innovation Runway
The  L’Oréal Innovation Runway is a regional start-up challenge launched by L’Oréal Research & Innovation, in partnership with Startup SG, NUS Enterprise and SPRING Singapore.  The challenge sought for unique solutions in the areas of Personalised Beauty, Smart Materials, Natural Materials, Delivery Technologies, and Digital Technologies.

Shell #IdeaRefinery
The Shell #IdeaRefindery is a 20-week corporate accelerator programme, launched in partnership with NUS Enterprise and ImpacTech. IdeaRefinery aims to help build a vibrant startup ecosystem in new energy solutions, in support of Singapore’s ambition to be a sustainable and smart nation. The programme focuses on developing early stage energy-related startups into full-fledged enterprises that can raise capital and scale into successful businesses with a strong societal impact.
