After login to myEduRec, please click on Academics > Global Education > External Study Application > External Study Program > look for Ext. Study - "NOC Jan 2020 Intake".

If you are freshmen or first year students who enrolled in Academic Year (AY) 2019/2020, you are welcome to join our Friends of NOC (FoN) network at for updates on the latest NOC happenings, events, internship opportunities with our start-ups and more.


Important Notes:
Applications which open in August 2019 are only meant for January 2020 intake for all colleges. We do not accept July 2020 intake applications and you may apply when the next applications open in January 2020.
Students must have completed CS2103/IS2103/BT2101/CS2113 modules (for SoC & CEG students only ; not applicable for NOC Singapore and SE Asia).
Students must not have read or planning to read FASS internship module FAS2551/2552/2553 (for FASS students applying for NOC Full Year Programme only).


NOC Interviews:

13 Aug 2019 (Tue) - 6 September 2019 (Fri)

Strictly no change of date 3 days prior to the scheduled interview slot. If you wish to change your interview date or withdraw your application, please state your reason and email to (for change of interview date will be subjected to NOC's approval). However, if you fail to attend your scheduled interview without giving us prior notice, we will consider your intention to withdraw from NOC Application.

What to prepare after your application is submitted:

Please check your NUS student email account on a regular basis as NOC will notify you regarding your interview schedule and other information.

One round of 30-min panel interview will be conducted at NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) office, 21 Heng Mui Keng Terrace, Level 5 (opposite Sheares Hall). The dress code is business attire. Please take a seat at the reception lobby when you arrive for the interview and wait for NOC staff to attend to you.

Submission of testimonials is recommendable before you attend NOC interview. However, you can submit your testimonials within a week after your interview. Please approach your referees to write at least 2 testimonials for you and you can upload the recommendation letters or testimonials through myEduRec > External Study Program. If your referees prefer to submit the testimonials in confidence to NOC, they can send the testimonials to and indicate your name and matriculation number in the email. Please note that we DO NOT accept testimonials from National Service, Polytechnic and Junior College. The testimonials that have been written must be within a year during submission. Your referees will need to provide their contact info be it email or telephone number in the testimonials.

Please submit your latest unofficial transcript (AY18/19 Semester 2) and it can be obtained from myEduRec.

You will be notified of the NOC interview results for January 2020 Intake via email by the end of September 2019 or beginning of October 2019.
