National Research Foundation Central Gap Fund
The Central Innovation and Enterprise Office (CIEO) is the programme office administering Central Gap. The NUS Industry Liaison Office (ILO) is the designated Innovation and Enterprise Office (IEO), all communication relating to Central Gap should be made through NUS ILO.
The grant scheme aims to support the translation of research outcomes into useful products, processes and services that generate economic and societal benefits. The scheme provides a national-level platform to resource impactful projects and encourage collaboration across public research performers and/or industry.
Successful applicants will receive a quantum greater than $750K for their projects, for a period of up to 2 years. Proposals can be submitted throughout the year via the Research, Innovation and Technology Administration (RITA) system and will be batched processed by NRF. Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by a Standing Oversight Committee (SOC). Shortlisted applicants may be requested to present their proposal to the SOC before a final decision is rendered.
