3D Printing In Healthcare Symposium

Since its inception in 1976, 3D printing has brought about numerous benefits and solutions to many industries. 3D printing technology has taken great strides and an emerging area of application is the healthcare sector This rapid expansion is expected to revolutionize how medical experts deliver healthcare across all disciplines and levels.

Most recently, 3D printing has been applied to various medical disciplines in countries around the world. Doctors have actively employed this technology to both aid and improve current practice as well as discover new methods and solutions in an effort to improve patient outcomes.

In order to raise the awareness to clinicians and healthcare providers of the possibilities and implementation of 3D printing in Singapore’s healthcare industry, a new medical symposium is being organised by NUS 3DP Centre in collaboration with local 3D printing firm Creatz3D. This event builds on the previous success of the Creatz3D medical luncheon in 2015-2016, where solutions and benefits of 3D printing in Singapore’s healthcare industry were shared.
