THE LATEST WAVES IN SHIPPING

BLOCK71 Singapore, in collaboration with Symphony Creative Solutions, held three Kopi Chat sessions to bring to the community the latest trends, opportunities and technologies in the Shipping industry. Check out key takeaways from Ocean Of Opportunities In A Trillion Dollar Market, Shipping the Smart Way and live stream on Riding the Waves of Change with Technology.

Hacking Hackathons

NUS Overseas Colleges Silicon Valley students are on a roll, sweeping away prizes at the various hackathons. More than 10 students took part in the DeveloperWeek hackathon 2018 and brought home numerous prizes! Two students took part in the SheHack Boston 2018 and won in the Environmental Sustainability category. A big congratulations to them!

Calling NUS alumni with an early-stage tech start-up! The NUS Alumni Start-up Catalyst (NASC) can help to take your innovation off the ground! Designed to help founders validate their start-up ideas, successful applicants will receive a validation award of up to S$10,000 and a support package to help their ideas achieve product/market fit.

Yonah

NUS Enterprise supported start-up Yonah aims to help the needy in out-of-reach places through its cargo drone delivery system. Hear the story of how co-founder, Ong Tian Chang, went on a volunteer mission trip to Papua New Guinea, where he shadowed the chief doctor and learnt about the logistical challenges faced by the medical team.
